My Jefferson County is a project that was first dreamed of at a meeting of the Jefferson County Health Council during the fall of 2005.  During the next few months discussions between Ken Avent of Symphony Hill Enterprises, Community Connections of Carson-Newman College and Karen Blomdahl of the Family Resource Center of the Jefferson County School system led to the creation of a centralized database.

The web site is maintained and hosted by Symphony Hill Enterprises of New Market, TN on a dedicated server at a major server farm in Houston Texas which is protected by state of the art firewalls - both hardware and software. 

All web services are donated - there is no charge to be listed or for non-profit agencies to have access to the system.

Some of the agencies or individuals listed on this site are NOT non-profit agencies.  We include them because they round out offerings or have specifically requested volunteers from the community.  For-Profit agencies or individuals should submit a request via our contact page.

All of the information on the web site is either in the public domain or has been provided by the agencies themselves either directly or to one of our partners.

We encourage agencies to provide us as much information as possible so that people coming to this site will have as complete information as is possible. 

We will be happy to give any agency a special login and password so that they can maintain their own information at their leisure.
